Hannah O. Nesser

I am a Research Scientist at Georgetown University's Earth Commons. I use satellite observations of greenhouse gases to quantify flux drivers and the associated errors at the resolutions needed to inform mitigation policy by supporting the improvement of emission inventories. I work on methane, carbon dioxide, and hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs).

In my free time, I enjoy running, hiking and camping, reading, and making bad jokes about greenhouse gases (methane may be the CHHHHillest molecule, but carbon dioxide is pretty COOl.). I grew up in Minnesota and am happiest around small, medium, and large bodies of water.
